Navigate to the Conversations page from the Dashboard by clicking on the Conversations icon on the top-left of the screen orby clicking on the “Start a Conversation” button from the Smart List Progress widget. These are the 2 ways you can start a conversation going forward.
Click on the “To Contact” category and click on the contact you want to start a conversation with.
What’s new in the experience is that if the contact is part of multiple campaigns, the message templates for each campaign will be in order of the campaign start date.
Select the Conversation Starter you’d like to use (there may be one or more options)
Customize the editable fields in the message template (fields highlighted in blue are auto-populated).
Ensure that all flagged non-compliant words/phrases are corrected
Click on the “Send Message” button to fire it off!
For users of the previous version of the platform, note that you will no longer be able to start a conversation via the Account Profile page.
