What does it mean to add an opportunity?

Learn how to view, add, edit, and close opportunities

The opportunities widget helps you track business opportunities as a way to measure the progress and success of your outreach. It is located on the right-hand side of the TextKit window.

Opportunity stages
Defining the specific stage of the opportunity is important to track its progress.

An example of a 5-stage sales cycle in the wireless industry:

  • Awareness: The customer has been informed about an iPhone upgrade opportunity
  • Discovery: The customer responded to your text and is currently looking at alternative offers
  • Meeting Booked: The customer wants to meet in-person at the store to discuss the details
  • Final Proposal: The customer is reviewing the upgrade package terms
  • Closed: The customer has purchased the upgrade and you have successfully closed the opportunity with a win!

Note that the stages may differ depending on your business’s setup.

View active and closed opportunities
