Here are some of the key features in TextKit that you should get familiar with:
Campaigns
These are groups or lists of contacts that should be reached out to for the same topic(s). Campaigns are uploaded/synced from your company’s CRM or customer database, and allow you to sort your contacts strategically so that you are reaching out to them at the right time and for the right reasons. You will be able to see the name of the Campaign your contact belongs to under their name in the Conversations panel. Each campaign will also have one or more Message Templates to help you start the conversation off right (refer to this article for more details) and encourages your contact to respond.
Conversation Categories
See this article for more details about categories.
Widgets
These are embedded apps/tools that reflect key customer information such as contact details, customer activity, opportunities, eligibles, subscribers, etc. to help you stay informed in your conversations. They provide you with full customer context without having to leave the app or toggle to another window.
Sendable Content (feature not available yet)
TextKit allows you to send curated content within your conversations quickly and effectively. The types of sendable content available is determined by your company’s administrator, but the goal is to give you quick access to useful links or content so that you can have more productive conversations. Some examples of Sendables include video call invites, appointment booking links, e-signature requests, secure file sharing locations, information packages, electronic forms, and much more!
Compliance
TextKit has built-in compliance filters and coaching tips to help you engage with customers safely. Your company may also set custom brand standards that must be followed. As you compose each message, compliance filters will let you know if a word/phrase is non-compliant, and in turn, provide you with a reason why it should be revised. Note that compliance rules apply to both inbound and outbound messages so that you, as a TextKit user, are also protected from receiving any inappropriate content. You can learn more about compliance filters in this article.
